DharmaCats Sanctuary
A place to be safe.
A place to belong.
DharmaCats is a home for cats. The cats who come here come home — safe, warm, known by name, and loved as they are, all their days.
What sanctuary means here
A place where you are safe, where you belong, and where you are accepted as you are — all your days.
The cats who come to DharmaCats come home. They can be safe here, be known here, and live without having to become something else first. Sanctuary is not something they earn. They belong because they are here.
The cats
Meet a few of the residents
More than two dozen cats call DharmaCats home. Everyone has their own personality, relationships, favorite places, and opinions about how things should be run. Come meet the family.
The Promise of Sanctuary
Sanctuary is a promise of belonging.
Here, every cat is given the space to be exactly who they are — to find comfort, safety, companionship, or solitude in the ways that feel right to them. They are cared for as individuals, with their own personalities, relationships, needs, preferences, and ways of moving through the world.
We promise to tend this place with patience and compassion. To provide warmth, nourishment, care, and the dignity of being known. To make room for trust to grow in its own time and for every cat to find their own sunbeam.
At DharmaCats, sanctuary means more than having somewhere to stay.
It means having somewhere you belong.
Support
Steady help keeps the days steady
Sanctuary is built from ordinary days, and ordinary days need ordinary things: food, litter, medicine, cleaning supplies, vet care, and places to sleep, climb, scratch, and rest.
What we are working toward first is $1,000 a month in steady, recurring support — nothing urgent, just something to count on. It would put a firmer floor under those ordinary days.
What we are working toward
$1,000
a month, given steadily
Once monthly giving is set up, what people are giving will be shown here.
Nothing is urgent about this. It would not cover everything, but it would put a firmer floor under the ordinary days: food, litter, medicine, and vet visits.

Sanctuary is a way of living together
Being safe enough to rest. Being known. Being allowed to stay, and to take as long as you need to feel at home.
